"Up to 400 Mbps" is a maximum potential speed, not a guarantee. Speeds vary by address, coverage, network conditions, and devices. During network congestion, speeds may be slower than other traffic. After 1.2 TB in a billing cycle, speeds may be reduced to 3 Mbps for the rest of that cycle. Three consecutive months over 1.2 TB may require a plan change. Service is for business and job-site use in the U.S. and is not intended for public/guest Wi‑Fi or continuous video streaming. You can relocate it to another covered site. Equipment sold separately. Prices plus tax.

Do I have to sign a long contract?
We keep monitoring terms straightforward. Ask us about current plan lengths when you get a quote — no high-pressure long-term traps.
What's the difference between the IQ5 Hub and IQ5 Panel?
Same platform. The IQ5 Panel is the fuller-featured option. The Hub is a strong core system; the Panel adds more built-in capability for larger or more advanced installs.
What's included in each monitoring plan?
All three include 24/7 UL-certified central station monitoring over a wireless path. Basic is panel-only — arm/disarm and user codes at the keypad, no app. Basic Interactive adds the Alarm.com app for remote arm/disarm, notifications, remote user codes, and sensor activity. Interactive Gold adds automation (lights, locks, thermostat) and unexpected activity alerts.
Can I start with self-install and upgrade later?
Yes. The Basic Self Install package is self-install with a 2GIG panel. You can add the optional Qolsys IQ5 Hub upgrade (+$79) at purchase, or talk to us later about moving up.
Can I use it at a temporary or different site?
Yes. It's a good fit for job sites, pop-up locations, outbuildings, and remote camera setups — and you can relocate the service to another covered site when the job moves. Coverage depends on Verizon's 5G network at that location.
Is the data really unlimited?
Yes for typical business use — office work, point-of-sale, and security cameras. There are no extra per-gigabyte overage charges on this plan. If a line uses more than 1.2 TB in a billing cycle, speeds may be reduced to 3 Mbps for the rest of that month. If that happens three months in a row, the line may need to move to a different plan. Speeds can also slow during network congestion.
Do you only serve Lakeland?
We're based in Lakeland and serve Winter Haven, Bartow, Plant City, the Tampa corridor, and greater Central Florida. If you're nearby, ask — we'll tell you if we can cover you.
